I add a new sub-folder to a folder I have as a Favourite.
How do I force that Favourite to refresh the so-called Media Library so that I can select the new subfolder?
– the same way you update any folder. Navigate to the parent folder and select OPTIONS – RESCAN.
Except that the Favorite IS the “parent” folder…
Rescan needs to be a menu option from the Favourite icon.
And boy would it ever be nice if the Refresh option acutally worked with ANY consitancy…

Makes no difference. Still works the same.
If by “works” you mean in a wholly counterintuitive, fussy, and inconvenient way, then yes…
But that’s a definition of “works” that isn’t, nor should it be, very widely accepted.
No, I mean that my instructions work whether it’s the parent folder or a subfolder.

Refresh aught to be part of the Menu of a Favourite
It’s more intuitive… It’s more efficient…
