Foolishly unchecked allow indexing in windows

Hello - like a fool I unchecked the “allow windows to index this drive” option on my 4TB Passport Ultra WDBYFT0040BBL - I thought it would make the data more secure! It is password protected, and physically working fine.
Now after the password stage, the drive comes up as “not accesible - the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable”
It does show up as a local disc, but windows says it is requiring formatting, and no files appear to be available.

Can anyone please advise me how to re-index the files and partition on the drive?
I am using Windows 7 - build 7600
Thanks.

Hello stoopid,

You can use WD’s Drive Utilities to erase your My Passport and make new partitions to get started.
