Folders in Finder in remote connection (Mac)

Hi I am a newbie to this forum. Recently I bought and installed the MyCloud EX2 Ultra 16TB. The disks are in RAID 1 modus. There are only folders with images on the disks. No other data (besides the system software, data and these folders). All local iMac and Macbook devices inside the local network have access to the NAS. This by folders in finder and the aliases at the desktop. So far so good. The NAS is 24/7 turned on.

My question / request is how to get access to the folders outside the local network ? Anywhere when I am not at home. I am able to acess the “shares” by the online Mycloud software. But I would like to have the folders vissible in finder so I am able to open, add and delete the content inside these folders directly. What are the possibilities ? Any step-by-step help is much appreciated.
