Folder name in My Clod?

Hi everyone.

I am rather new to this device so excuse me if the question is stupid!
The backup is working perfectly as it should. But the names of the
different folders make me confused. Each folder is named an impossible
name: Volume.9caae8c2.11e4ad41.806e6f6e6963
Absolutely crazy! Is it possible to rename the folder without disturbing
the backup function?

The unit I use is: 2-Bay Personal Cloud Storage.
Model name: WDMyCloudMirror
Model nr: BZVM

Running on a PC, windows 10

All figures from the units “dashboard” WD SmartWare Pro

Never worry about backup file or folder names – those are under control of the backup software and are never intended to be read by users.

If you’re wanting copies of your files as they are on your drive, that’s not a backup. That’s just a mirror.

Just as an FYI, this subforum (My Cloud) is generally for the single bay/single drive My Cloud units. The My Cloud Mirror is a different device with its own dedicated subforum where there are typically people more familiar with the unit.
