Folder.jpg problem or?

Hallo. I ned some help with a problem.

I now have my movies listed like this.

A / Moviename / Moviename.iso in that folder I also have a .jpg named folder.jpg

Now I want to change the way so my movie is listed like this

A / Moviename.iso

The problem now is that I am going to have lots of movie in the folder and I can only have one file named folder.jpg

What do I do to fix the folder.jpg problem ?

I am doing this be cores I want to use media libAry and the meta data service. The best way.

Instead of having all your movies in one big folder, why not organize your folders by genre like this:

Movies (folder)

    Action (folder)

        movie1.mkv

        movie1.xml

        movie1.jpg (coverart)

        movie1_sheet.jpg (moviesheet)

        movie2.mkv

        movie2.xml

        movie2.jpg (coverart)

        movie2_sheet.jpg (moviesheet)

        etc.

    Comedy (folder)

        movie1.mkv

        movie1.xml

        movie1.jpg (coverart)

        movie1_sheet.jpg (moviesheet)

        movie2.mkv

        movie2.xml

        movie2.jpg (coverart)

        movie2_sheet.jpg (moviesheet)

        etc.

This way you don’t have go through all your files just to get to one, and you can have folder thumbs for each genre.

Hi. I am not doing it in one big file. I sort them by the first letter.

A b c d …

I just need to find a way to get a cover for the movie. If I doesn’t get the metadata

But will this work to ?

Insted of

Moviename.iso and folder.jpg

I can use

Moviename.iso and Moviename.jpg and still get the cover function to work ?

Then the same deal, just use a folder.jpg for the folder and then file_name.jpg for the file.

Movies (folder)

  A (folder)

        folder.jpg

        movie1.iso

        movie1.jpg (coverart)

        movie2.iso

        movie2.jpg (coverart)

        etc.

    B (folder)

        folder.jpg

        movie1.iso

        movie1.jpg (coverart)

        movie2.iso

        movie2.jpg (coverart)

        etc.
