I have a problem for backup on MS Windows environment

I have to backup on my WD NAS, with firmware version 5.21.104

it looks it is impossible to create .FOLDER folder ( es. .BIN ) either using windows explorer, or the backup software

I tried to manually create the .bin folder using SSH, with these results:

  • using windows explorer I can’t see this folder
  • using SSH connection, I can’t see this folder
  • trying to create again the folder using SSH connection, the report is: folder already exists

have you got any suggestions?

I have a 2nd generation WDMYCLOUD.
