When retrieving data to Windows 8 and selecting to retieve to original locations the retrieved folders on the PC have their ‘date modified’ changed to the date of the retrieval, which confuses my cloud back-up service. The dates on the files in the folders remain as back-ed up.
Is this a WD setting I can fix or is it Windows 8.
Does anyone know a work around?

Windows will change the date to the folder to the current date but the files will remain with the original dates because there has been no change on them.
