Folder cover art issue

Hi to all,

this is my post!

I have a WDTV Live with last stable firmware 1.02.21 and I have set folders/files thumbs following some guides found on the web.

When I run my WDTV Live the folders/files thumbs are show correctly but he show me also the *.jpg file.

What’s wrong?

P.S.: the thumbs are small 70Kb and 200x130pixel size

Welcome to the forums.

This is normal behavior for net shares, which I assume you’re using. Unfortunately, at the moment there’s no way to avoid it.

However, you *can* create a playlist containing all your film and this playlist will not have the thumbs showing as separate images. It’s easy and fast to do with Playlist Creator (freeware) and you can then navigate the playlist just as you would a normal set of files with thumbs (you’ll see no difference).

That behavior has been there since the beginning of these boxes, so I’m not holding my breath…

And they don’t see it as a “bug” per se (it’s a long story).

But just use the playlist creator as I said – it works great and you’ll never know.
