FLV files

I do not think the hub supports flv files. Anyone have a good flv file converter, freeware preferred. Thanks.

There are Lots of Programs that will do it …

Lots of them come down to a ‘Personal Preferance’  so you need to download and try a few to see which one suits your needs.

Personally, Myself… having a slow computer …  i use WinFF

It’s Free Open Source and a nice and simple Convertor which is pretty fast for FLV to AVI.

But the Hub support FLV. I have played few, also is in the user manual:

Container:

FLV

Codec:

H.264

File extension:

FLV

I will have to try this.  Here is the list of formats from the userguide, page 36

Sure, if it does playback FLV with Codec H.264 then thats great.  (personally haven’t tested)

But if your downloading FLV from the Net, then there’s no guarantee that they will be H.264 FLV

So you will still have to convert. (or at least know how to… when the situation arises)
