FLV Codec issue (Codec ffflv)

Hi,

I have the WD TV Live and some of my FLV files will not play, stating that they are not compatable.

However others do play…

Its seems it does not like this Codec, namely “ffflv”.

It will stream any video with Codec “ffh264” fine.

Would it be simple to repack / change the Codec on these files for a simple fix ?  Or is there a simpler fix ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the Live will not play that codec.

You can convert using ffmpeg, but the easiest thing to do is to run it through Handbrake using the High Profile preset (but change the output type to MKV).
