I am trying to transfer videos from my flip to a wd external drive usind wd tv live hd. After erasing flip videos, the video numbers start at 0001. is there a way to create a new folder on wd rtv live ?

Welcome to the forums.
If you connect to the Live via your PC you can browse it, create folders, do whatever you want to any disc attached to it just like it was a regular net share.
If you have any trouble seeing it in your Network on your PC you may need to go to the Live and connect to a net share on your PC first.
I don’t think there’s a way to create folders using the LIVE, but it it might be possible to COPY a folder as-is. I haven’t tried that, but it might be worth a shot…
