Downloaded new firmare Version 1.04.17_B on Jan 01/2011. new firmware is not regonizing the wireless adpter Airlink 101. ( Model AWLL 5077) . I did not have problem with the old firmware version.
Rollback your firmware

Hopefully your wireless adaptor will now work and you can allow the unit to upgrade to 1.04.10_B - which was the last firmware.
I did try your suggestion, but no luck. Currently the older version also not identify the wirless adapter. Very disappointed. Please keep posting any new information or idea .

OK if you are now on the 1.03.39_B firmware you can easily go up to 1.04.10_B

Hope that works. If not do reset via the side button using a paperclip / cocktail stick with the unit on. Press for 1 second and then release - the unit should reboot. You can also try that before you upgrade to 10_B
I have done everything as you per your suggestion, but no luck. Its look like that wireless adapter is not power on when I turn on the mediaplayer. Hope Western Digital will came out some solution for this issue. Thanks for your suggestion. If you come across any solution please let us know.
