Hello,
when attempting to upgrade Firmware with WD_MB_Studio v1.034 everytime i get following error message:
“Error while loading generic library”
Additionally i tried WD Firmware Updater 3.1.0.11 & it doesn’t find the WD Book drive as well. Only get message "You may only update one drive at a time. Safe unplug all drives … ".
I disabled Virus Scan application & Windows Firewall without any success.
Also i ran those apps in “Windows XP SP3” Compatibility Mode & as “Run as Administrator” without any success as well.
The drive is recognized by Windows 7 OS & also by WD Drive Manager v2.115 !
