Im new to all of this so please bear with me.
I got a notice that there was a firware update and if i had my device set to auto update it would be done automatically.
how do find the setting?

In the Web UI (usually reachable at http://wdmycloud.local/),,) go to Settings on top, and then Firmware on the left.
Use the Auto-Update slider. I prefer to manually update when I am ready.
