Firmware Update

Hi Guys I am New Here I Would Like To update my WorkBook  (( WD20000H1NC )) Firmware But Through My Network I Couldn’t So I Need to Download a Standalone Version , Please Help Me finding Where to Download it …

The latest firmware is version 01.01.16 released on November 23, 2009

There does not appear to be a stand alone version.

  I’m afraid what you want to do isn’t feasible. I tried it myself a few months (or A month back) and WD basically told me there was no way to do a manual update… That the manual update option built into the web frontend is there in case they decide to support the functionality in future.

  Even when I mentioned that the auto-updater has to be going through a similar process anyways, just retrieving the firmware from an online source instead and asked if they might point me to or email or whatever the relevant file to me, I was told (but not explained to why) that it quite simply is impossible.

  Sorry mate. But I myself am still stuck in a similar position and am still running on old (read: OLD!!!) firmware.

Is your network running internet connection through a proxy server?  If so, that may be why you can update.
