I read a post that suggested that instead of taking you to the “New firmware found” option, there could just be a notification showing on the screen. Even better, have an option to disable checks for new firmware as well. I couldn’t find the original post, I’d like to add my vote for that feature. It’s really anoying having the WDTV keep jumping to the New firmware found screen every time I switch it on.
