Firmware for WD Blue WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0?

Hi all,

I have a WD Blue WDC WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0 drive which has the firmware “01.03B01”.

I cannot find any firmware updates on the WD site.

Does anyone know if there is a newer version elsewhere or if I already have the up to date version?

Western digital does not provide updates for its “firmware” on its internal drives.

Ah, ok no problem. Thought they might as Seagate do with theirs.

The drive has never given me any trouble and is very healthy. Passes all tests with the Lifeguard Diagnostic tool.
