Just heard my MCH’s fans going full speed. It got updated to Firmware 7.6.0-115.

And MCH iOS app to 4.6.0.

And WD Discovery autoupdated to 3.8.229 (and My Cloud Desktop to 2.1.0.372)

Firmware 7.6.0-115 (4/28/2020)

  • Updated Facebook API
  • Fixed issue that prevented a secondary user from sharing an album with the device owner
  • Fixed issue that prevented saving of videos from the photos tab to the mobile device
  • Improved performance of mobile device auto backup
  • Fixed issue where files with special characters were not getting backed up
  • Bug fixes and performance enhancements

Mine still hasn’t updated to it. It’s been a couple of days, and I’ve rebooted it multiple times.

Update are staged apparently. Reboot does not force it. Wait until 3 or 4 days after release.
