Sorry to say, but since FW 2.xxx the Player **bleep**. It got really slow, crashes often and Network-Sharing problems are back in an even worse manner.
I’m really waiting for a new update but im waiting for a while now.
Will there be an update soon that fixes that stuff? If not, im thinking about going bacl to the latest FW 1.xxx.

Downgraded today.
Big praise to WD to suplly a reday-to-flash-downgrade kit.
Network shares working fine again, player is reacting way smoother.
The problem I am seeing is that both of my devices since upgrading have to be reset by pulling power in order for them to turn on. I thought that it was only unit that had this issue as it was a refurb but that no longer seems to be the issue. I would just assume run the older firmware but the latest update to the iOS version of the remote broke support for any firmware but the latest 2.x. It really feels like WD has dropped the ball on this one and I’m afraid I’m going to have to look elsewhere very soon.
