[Firmware 2.03.20] [iPlayer] Pause button not working

Hi,
am I the only one whose play/pause button has stopped working on BBC iPlayer since the 2.03.20 upgrade?
It still works fine on Netflix, so the issue is not with my remote.

This is a HUGE annoyance, any suggestions before I revert to 2.02.32?

Hello, other than resetting the media player I have no other ideas.

tried that, but it didn’t change anything.
Also tried the smartphone Remote App, as suggested by WD support, same behaviour :cry:

Are u sure it ever worked? I seem to remember u had to use the selected screen button down the bottom, so unless u move selection left and right that will be just pressing the central remote control OK button for pause/play functionality (or is that Select, the paint has worn off on mine!)

Hi, yes it definitely worked, and stopped working right after the upgrade.
But thanks for the suggestion, pressing the OK button does make the onscreen menu appear with the pause button selected, and then a 2nd press pauses the video. So now I’ve got a workaround, 2 keypresses instead of 1 is not that bad!
I’ll probably live with that rather than bother with a downgrade.
