Firmware 2.02.32 RSS Feed Issues

I just want to chime in with another side affect with this bug in 2.02.32.  I watch alot of TWIT networks podcast via their RSS feeds.  I’ve started experiencing this problem the moment I upgraded to 2.02.32.  Here is how to reproduce this problem:

  1. Add this RSS feed into the RSS feed app,  http://feeds.twit.tv/tri_video_large.xml
  2. Select the latest Triangulation Episode
  3. If your device misbehaves like mine, it will attempt to play the episode >>  http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp4/twit.cachefly.net/video/tri/tri0164/tri0164_h264m_864x480_500.mp4 and after a short delay, quit.
  4. I down graded one of my gen 3 WDTV Lives back to the previous firmware and this problem went away.

I am also seeing the weird no sound YouTube issue periodically that is mentioned here.

I wonder how much QA is done with this version of the firmware?  How about a BETA program for some of us ADVANCE users, we would gladly help you pick apart the issues before it goes into prime time.

I also have this problem after updating to that firmware. *Exactly* the same.

I also watch Twit and JupiterBroadcasting shows.

It could be however, that it is caused by the same problem that is causing MP4 files not to play, because the streams are all .MP4.

Don’t feel like downgrading yet, but it sure is annoying. Hoping for a quick fix.
