I made a short trial video with 10 pictures to be played as a slide show on my TV.
WD HD TV Live won’t play the movie as it is not a supported format. Could this be true? I can’t find any information about the codecs for Video and Audio used by Picasa to support the message on the TV Live screen. How can I get this working? I’m using the latest version of Picasa and downloaded the latest firmware for TV Live.
I tried both resolutions for viewing on my TV.

How is the file that you export from Picasa named?
IE, is it a .wmv file, or what?

In the players specifications/file formats supported I read "
And it can be played with Windows Media Player
The movies made with picasa are WMV2 and therefore not playable by WDTV Live.
Check your own file with mediainfo. (free)
RichUK thanks for your input! Now I now what the output of Picasa is. I’m now converting my file with Need4 Video Converter VMW9. Or do you know a better product?
