Files not appearing on NAS share

I have a problem with displaying some content on my WD TV Live. 

I have some .avi movies encoded with xvid video and AC3 audio codec.

I’m not sure this combo should even work but the files are not even displayed

on the share. I have a NAS connected to my router and it’s the same with the WD TV live.

Can somebody tell me what I’m doing wrong here ? Best regards Robert.

My guess is that you’re using a media server (not a network share) that doesn’t support AVI files.
