File transfer speed only 1MB/s with My Book 4TB on Win 8 (USB 2.0)

Even my flash drive gets a speed of about 15MB/s.

I’ve checked the drive with WD Drive utilities: SMART status and quick drive test were passed.

Tried DLG as well. SMART passed, Quick test passed.

What to do now?

Try going into Device Magager find the drive anr right click and select properties and select the tab Policies and check Better Preformance. That might help.

Don’t know what happened. After getting tired of all the tests, shut down my PC and went to sleep. Next day, I am getting speed of 30MB/s! :smiley:
