File transfer from windows 7 pc/laptop to wd tv live connected usb fails

my windows tv live WDBHG70000NBK is connected over wireless lan with belkin router to windows 7 OS. 

As per the opearations manual, i downloaded the wd discovery tool and able map the USB connected to the WD tv live. 

I am able to view the files on the usb but unable to transfer the files from PC/Laptop to the usb. 

I updated to the latest firmware. Sometimes it will transfer for some time and stop after sometime 

recently i got 0x8007045D error on pc

Hello, if you are using a USB powered hard drive connected to the WDTV, avoid using any extension cables or USB hubs. For a more stable connection you can also try setting a static IP for the WDTV. Check page 85 of the manual for more information.
