File has disappeared

I have 3 WD TV HD Live WiFi (model# WDBGXT0000NBK) and one of my .mkv files has disappeared.

I have my movies on a netgear NAS and while the folder is still there the file inside the folder is not according to the media player. The file is there if I check it with my computer. I have tried to delete the file and upload it again, tired to rebuild the media library but nothing helps. And it’s the same on all 3 players. Is there some common library that is placed on the NAS that needs to be deleted?

Also, some folders that I have put on the NAS and deleted are still visible. How do I “reset” what the mediaplayer sees on the NAS? Reformat of the NAS is not an option.

I access through DLNA media server.

As long as you’re running the latest firmware, this should help:

Disconnect TWO of the three (doesn’t matter which) of the other boxes.   On the remaining one, do a CLEAR MEDIA LIBRARY.
