Faulty G-Raid returns policy - Can I get a refund

The drive has just failed on me and won’t start up. I have a backup of some of the files on my disk but it’s encrypted so I need a similar size disk to restore it to and I need the replacement really quickly. Can I go and buy a replacement before I return the item and then get a refund for the faulty one once it’s been assessed? It is in warranty but I bought it from Apple and they say I can’t just swap it with them and I’d have to return it to you. Your returns policy sounds like I’ll be waiting at least 7 days and I just can’t wait that long.

We cannot offer you a refund for a product purchased elsewhere. You would need to send it in under warranty to get a replacement drive. I recommend calling in to our support so you can speak with an agent that can assist you with an RMA directly. 888.426.5214 if in the US.
