fat32 formatting problem

I downloaded the fat32 formatting program and i get an error saying to small or worng type, any ideas how to fix.

What OS and what model drive? Which format program did you download?

the exat error is

Error: Driver size is too small or not supported! (WD070AUSBDevice)

Hello,

I have notice that the WD Fat 32 formatter does not work with 750 GB drives. You need to use a third party software, if you search on Google you will find several free applications that will do the job for you.

IMO, don’t format Passport drives with FAT32. If you need FAT32 drive, buy unbranded 200 GB USB drive for your FAT32 requirement. If you format WD Passport Essentials drive with FAT32, you’ll face lot more problems in the future. Drive may become unresponsive due to increased amount of bad sectors.

 if you want to format the ntfs to fat 32,  don’t hold much hope on DM, it could only support formatting to FAT32 which is smaller than 32GB, you could try Partition Assistant Home edition, this tool could support 2TB,
