Hi Forum,
due to some installation trouble I wanted to clean up my two new WD20EVDS disks.
Therefore I used the tool Data Lifeguard Diagnostic für Windows in order to write zeros.
However, for both drives, regardless whether I use the full (complete disk) or the short version (only beginning and end) the tool throws the error message “Failed to update disk property” BUT everthing looks fine
I tried both IDE and AHCI mode - no difference.
What is the reason for this ? Anything to worry about ?
