Fail to run WDSmartWare

I purchase yesterday new My Book Live 2TB, after I run the software , I want to start using WDSmartWare but it can’t idientefiy the device on network.

I try to use windows back up , also can’t complete

can any one help ,

Did you map the drive to the computer?

Check the firewall settings on your computer and router
