Factory Restore My Cloud without admin password!

Hi

I am wanting to do a factory restore on my 3TB My Cloud but have forgotten my admin password!!!

Is there any way of doing this without going into my settings in order to set up a new Admin account with a password that I can remember?

what is an “admin-password”? Is it one of the important think in life of the mycloud?

Check the user manual on how to use the reset button.

Many thanks Tony, for a prompt reply.

Have reset the system (which removes passwords) and now carrying out a factory restore.

Note to self: Must use LastPass password management system!!!
