Tried to check warranty for the drive but serial not recognized by WD website Any one know why or how to check warranty for drive that cannot be reformatted?
are you sure you entered the correct Serial Number ? (pretty sure all WD Serial Numbers start with a “W”)
Download Data LifeGuard Diagnostics … and double check (it will display your Serial Number)
