That is the “External subtitle location options(up/down arrows)”? I cannot able to do so. It seems WDTV is in old days that an external subtitle file should have the same name of video file.

You’re talking about two different things.
The “UP/DOWN” keys change the On-screen position of the subtitles, meaning it can move them up and down on the screen to suit your preferences.
And with the RIGHT/LEFT keys you are able to sync the subs with the video/audio.
Which does not apply to Vosubs (idx/sub) but only to SRT and co.
The right/left keys do.
