External Portable WD finished backing up my mac?

Just a simple question really, but I don’t see just a simple answer on the forums.

How do I know when my MacBook Pro is completely finished backing up onto my WD EasyStore portable external hard drive?

Does is say “DONE”/“FINISHED”/“YOU CAN NOW UNPLUG THE HARD DRIVE FROM YOUR MAC - ALL FILES FROM YOUR MAC HAVE NOW BEEN STORED ON THE WD HARD DRIVE”?

Something simple like that?

Hi @Shadow2,

The best way to know for sure if a file on your external hard drive is being backed up online, is to sign in to the site and click “View/Restore Files”.

Another option is to view the "Files Scheduled for Backup " log in the settings panel.
