I retreived my files from MyBook to my PC and I can see the files and the size of them, but I can’t open them. When I open them its either a bunch of codes or totally empty. Anyone know what I can do to open my files?

How did you transfer your files to the drive?
For example if you use Smartware do you retrieve the backup to the original folder?
