External hard drive don't work anymore

The computer allows me to safely disconnect the USB socket but does not show it between the discs. in devices management it appears correctly.

To save the data I have also tried it with stellar phoenix but I did not show between disks. how do I fix?

The disk management don’t show anythng until I detach the external hd.
I think it check for all disk but when come to the broken one it stop all the process

Hi Correl, please answer some of the question mentioned below so that I can easily resolve your query.

First thing is, when you check your hard drive in the Device Manager, does it shown with the Yellow Invalid Mark? If yes, then you need to update your hard drive by just doing double click on that yellow mark.

Secondly, If this doesn’t show any invalid mark, then I suggest you to try the CHKDSK command to identify and fix the drive issue.

Have you used ‘show hidden devices’ option? If not, then try it

Just go to the device manager.

Click on view tab from the menu bar and click on show hidden devices option.

Hope, after this your drive will be visible again!!
