I have a WD My Book Essential connected to a DELL 3252 (Windows 10). External drive will not power down when I shut down the computer. I have all the USB hubs set to "Allow the computer to turn off this device…). Can some on help me? GmaLab

I have the WD Essential external drive connected to a USB-2 port at the back of the computer. The drive is supplied with a USB-3 Interface and a USB-3 cable. According to the supplied documentation it is backward compatible with a USB-2 or USB-1 interface.
