Are there any restrictions on the external drive? I was thinking of adding a 5TB drive for more computer backups, but I don’t know if the WD Smartware will backup to the external drive. Will it?

I have never tried connecting a 5TB external drive. The My Cloud User’s Manual does not mention any restrictions regarding a USB external drive. It says: “The USB drive can serve as a target for backups in WD SmartWare, Windows, or
Time Machine”
