ext4 and 4gb file size limitation

I have a 2TB My Book with a single ext4 volume. I cannot copy files to it  that are larger than 4gb. The drive was originally formatted as NTFS and I had the same problem. I formatted as ext4 with no luck. Is that a drive spec?

Hi there, as far as I know that’s the FAT32 limitation, I didn’t know EXT4 has it as well…

HOw did you create the partition? o.o
