On the home page of the web interface of my EX4100 , I can see the overall disk status; also, under Storage / Disk Status, I can see the S.M.A.R.T. status of the disks.
However, in my experience, the SMART status doesn’t mean a thing (I have seen failing disks still showing a “good” SMART status).
So, I am wondering, is there a way to check the health of disks reliably?
