Ex4100 power loss detected on port 1

Hi, i have seen this on here but wanted further clarification as my machine i bought on saturday was bit noisy although that could be the heat currently:

  1. I have cleared down the error, is this a potential problem still?
  2. Does the NAS Have to be plugged directly into the mains as mine is plugged into a surge 4 gang as i have limited wall sockets?

Those are false alarms. Mine did that a few days ago, too.
