Support have organised a replacement for my EX4 which was faulty and under warranty. They have upgraded me to an EX4100 which has now arrived. I need to put my existing drives (from the EX4) into the EX4100 to access my data once again and continue working. My question please is: Will the EX4100 accept the existing drives as its current raid config? I am worried about losing my data if the EX4100 does not pick up the existing raid config.
Yes, you can move drives of My Cloud EX4 in My Cloud EX4100 device with same RAID configuration without losing of data. But it would be suggest to take a backup to prevent issues.
