EX4 - no more online access?

I have an old EX4 that I’m trying to clean up.

I used to access it via WDMycloud.com but that appears to be dead.
MyCloud.com doesn’t list the EX4 as a supported enclosure.

Is there anyway for me to log into this NAS to check it’s used space and capacity?

I’m on a Mac and clicking and choosing “info” doesn’t work.
I assume this doc and the whole “end of support life” means the answer is no…

I hadn’t opened a support case as I was pretty sure the EX4 was no longer supported.

I’ll see if I can open a case.


The EX4 went out of support back in 2022. My Cloud is no longer accessible with it.

You should still be able to log on directly using:

http://<ip_address> where ip_address is the IP of the EX4.

Note: if you use https:// you may get an regarding the security certificate (connection not private). If allowed, accept and continue. Then use the the user account admin and whatever password you set for it. If Safari won’t allow it, use another browser (I use Firefox).
