I have just come back from two weeks holidays to find my EX2 unresponsive. It is connected to the router with an IP but a scan shows all ports closed (including ping).
Rebooting the NAS seems to work relatively well; I get a solid blue light for both drives, a blinking blue power light for a few minutes and then all three lights go off and I’m left with an unreachable unit.
- The system is set to hibernate for 6 hours a night
- There is occasional disk and network activity (sound and lights)
- I have tried Wake On LAN, on port 7 and 3389
- I have tried a hard reset with a pin in the reset hole
