Every time i boot up a PC, I get a pop up message saying “EX2 Ultra is shutting down”.
Why is this? I go to the NAS and the blue power LED is blinking. After this it works as normal.
I am on windows 10 64 bit.

Try resetting the unit to see if this helps, does this happen on other computers when you try the same? Here is a link that might help with the reset process:
Thanks ArMak, 40 second reset seems to have done the trick. But now everything keeps losing connection to my router and reconnecting. VERY ANNOYING. I may soon lose faith in WD as a brand, which is a shame as their HDs have never let me down.
Quick update: I switched on all devices that connect to the router and then reset/powered off my router. seems stable at the moment…
