I have an issue with my brand new WD Cloud Ex2. After an automated update of the firmware, the device went into a ‘safe mode’. I cannot get out of it.
I tried to upload the latest firmware, unzip, upload on the device, but it shows waiting screen forever. Sometimes I can even see a ERROR 500 behind.
I tried to Hard reset using the reset button behind (pressing for 5 seconds and 10 seconds) - but it did not even reboot.
I’ve contacted the support team (they are not in the same Timezone as mysefl) but they are not helping much so far.
Did anyone from the community experienced the same and found a solution?
Is there anyway to ‘force’ the hard reset?
Any advice or hint would be useful. Thanks,
