I own the EX4100, and find the processor to be very limiting. It wasn’t able to handle a single stream in native Plex, for example. As a pure storage NAS, for backups and file access, not running many other services, or as a DLNA server, it’s been fine.
Kodi is a very useful software that allows you to access all kinds of media without charging you a cent. It can run on TV, Laptop, Phone tablets, and other devices. KODI can do the job a streaming platform and live Television can do. https://kodi.run/

I own a 32 Tb WD PR 4100 NAS and I’m thinking of upgrading it’s capcity, because I’ve seen WD advertise that they now have 20 Tb Red harddrives. Is the PR 4100 capable of handling 80 Tb of harddrive memory (20 Tb per bay)?
