please see here Timemachine stops working after update to FW 5.19.117 - #19 by peterhubi for a workaround on the TimeMachineBackup share issue under FW 5.19.117.
I issued a service ticket on the matter and referenced to the WD Community discussion. Answer was basically ‘We at customer service don*t have anything to do with community discussions nor are we able to pass this to our software developers’.
@WDStaff or @WD, at least a reaction from your end?
