Everyday vs blue 4tb , same drive?

Earlier, WD Desktop Mainstream Everyday and WD Desktop Performance Internal hard drive were launched. Then after some internal advancement, they named as WD Blue and WD Black internal hard drives. Apart from more compatibility & system requirement , WD Everyday and Blue are same.

  • Minimum System Requirements (WD Blue) - PC: Windows 7 or 8; Mac OS

  • Minimum System Requirements (WD Desktop Mainstream) - Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8; Mac: OS X Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion

I would recommend you to use WD Blue internal if want to use on Computer with updated OS version. However, go with WD Desktop Mainstream if want to use with previous OS version.
