Why is there one hdd in IDE mode (WD3200H1CS,latest firmware) and the other one in true Sata (WDBABT0010HBK) ? Does the IDE mode have an impact on performance ?

When it comes to performance, there really isn’t a big difference in using IDE, RAID, SATA, AHCI.  The BIOS will select the best mode for better performance.
